The wine is initially somewhat tight but is opening up after 2 hours in the decanter. Compact, layered and a comforting intensity on the palate; great freshness, a smart integrated viscosity and a muting intensity on the mid palate before a long, lingering finish. Another impressive wine from this phantom winemaker.

Very rich, green apple, beeswax, lanolin, mineral. Just a bit of heat on the finish.
