The Sadie wines are treasures. Eben Sadie makes wine in the ways I’d make wine. Treinspoor is something unique. I’d be shocked if anyone could call the grape blind though it makes sense after you think about it. Tinta Barocca is usually made for Port and you can draw the link to prune, plumb, raisins, spruce, and oak. Bone dry, fleshy tannins.

This was amazing; rose hips, cranberry, mulling spice. Med - body, med + acid. Beautiful 😍

Slightly dusky in colour, un-bright, brooding, Victoria plum on nose, smoked bacon, dusty, whiff of aniseed. Smooth front mid palate dominates. Quite mono dimensional. Little finish. Moderate acidity. Interesting wine.

This was actually a Barrel Sample from march 2015 but Eden Sadie corked it regulary for ProWein and gave it to me. Stunning wine ! Dryed plums, anise, cedar in the nose, rich und firm with great freshness ! #tintabaroccarules
