Samuel Adams (The Boston Beer Company)
Boston Lager
Very rich aromas but still very easy to drink.

Sam Adams is almost always technically correct in the flavors of their differing beer styles. Well crafted, with more flavor and refinement than their more macro competitors. Still, it is a brewery with mass appeal, that is to say there is rarely anything too soulful or unique about their major releases. That said, I've always liked the BL, and it is a very important beer in historical terms for American brewing. It was also the best choice going here at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Tx where the taps consist of Bud Light and the repellent fraud that is Ziegenbock. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is truly king. Glad Sam was here for me.
