Gaso is the family vineyard high on the hills of Marano di Valpolicella. Very attractive nose of resin, butterscotch, prune, ripe plum, and cherry. Unusually bright and vibrant palate. Authoritative yet silky tannins. I think I paid $35 for this small production Amarone. A steal.

Jan 20th, 2018Tart chewy cherry with rich blueberry and a slight spice and hint of chocolate on the palate. Dry with an almondy long finish. I'd love this with a duck dish.
