Burgenland St. Laurent

Smelled like a tire fire mixed with straight shit. Needless to say, not a fan.

Tasty tasty wine. All stainless steel but showing nice stem and seed tannins. Tons of forest floor wrapped around some dark plum and other dark fruits, and a hint of pepper.

Great wine for grilled cheese and watching the demise of the United States. Juicy and plummy fruits, sweet spices, forest floor, almost a pleasant medicinal tone. Tannin/acid interplay reminds me of pinot. Fun, funky, unique, and tasty

Needed a little time to open up, but showed great after that

Black fruit & earth

Dark plum and spice aromas. Succulent. Meaty. Bone marrow. Fleshy. Richness but never heavy. Long long finish. I LOVE THIS! Great value. $20

Could serve slightly chilled.

Gotten better with age! Showing more enticing tertiary notes and black fruits and earth. Firm texture and good long finish.

First taste? That typical purple color but nose is well resolved with primary fruit having evolved into an intriguing dark berries earthy profile with a tinge of mintiness. Lovely and lively palate. Nice.
