Appearance: Clear, Deep red-violet
Nose: Clean, pronounced blackberry, black cherry, plum, strawberry, sweet oak, and mineral.
Palate: Dry, medium-plus acidity and tannin, full body. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry, black currant, blueberry pie, plum skins, black raspberry, minerality, most appropriate oak in the background and on the finish. Long finish.
Conclusion: Very good.
Commentary: Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Big round multifaceted dark juicy fruits (plush), fruit forward without being jammy, excellent mouthfeel (grip). Very enjoyable now, and could age 3 years. Make it a multi-bottle purchase.

Jan 31st, 2016Value wine of the year for me. Let's call it a sonoma Bordeaux. Nose of fresh red cherries with a palate of berries this has complexity and smoothness at a very attractive price point. Vanilla and cedar on the finish with a streak of limestone that lingers
