Was a bit disappointed this wasn’t higher. Maybe a bit closed? Has a bit of that crunchy berry note on the nose and palate. But really quite light bodied with a thin finish relative to what you expect for a nice Gevrey. Not bad at all with a roast chicken and mushrooms but still didn’t quite get there for me overall.
