Despite having more than a decade in the bottle, this is a big boi. Powerful and decadent, but in balance. No one characteristic overpowers another, and it changed and softened over time. Pencil shavings, jalapeño, rubber, and strawberry on the nose. Rich and luscious mouthfeel with great acidity and just enough tannins. A long finish with just a hint of oak influence at the very end. Drinks way above its price point.
