Very very sweet. It reminds me of the inexpensive wine coolers of my college days in the late 1980's. The strong ripe plum flavor is a bit overpowering, but the low alcohol (11%) makes it a decent wine to drink socially without feeling like you should be really appreciating the wine. It is similar to grape soda without the fizz and a bit more depth.
