Scarlet Lake County Red Blend

A bit too muddle but still quite drinkable. I can gulp it down but I don't know that that is saying too much.

Pretty dry. Soaked right through my tongue

I had seen this wine at our local wine store but hesitant as I am usually not a fan of red blends. It came on sale and I got the last bottle which to me was a good sign. It has a slight sweet taste but cherry and plum stuck out to me with an overtone of a smoky-oak. This would go great with a cheese platter or smoked salmon. However it was great to sip and enjoy after a long day at work.

Awesome! Had at Austins. Can't find in stores yet.

Nice, medium-bodied blend. Maybe not overly bold but it is definitely not a bland wine either. Raspberry notes. Good value.

Found this as a close out at Albertsons for $5. Had first taste and went back to buy what they had left.
