Vanilla, lemon, green apple, lemon, wax, very discreet oak touches... No doubt about the varietal on the nose. The palate is showing a superlative acid backbone that it taking everything in its wake. There is some width, some apple and citrusy notes all along, a good grip and vivid mouthfeel, some waxy notes too, before a widening midpalate that powers up a very long, acid driven finish that leaves some slightly buttery touches over a citrusy finish that goes on for ever and even raise a bitter note in the very end. This is chenin like I like it. Dry as a full day of walking in the desert, focused as an hawk zeroing on its pray, electric as a late afternoon storm in the heat of summer. Great stuff!
