Wacholderberg Weissburgunder

Superbly mineral nose. Lime zest. Lime juice. So refreshing smelling. Palate is deep, rich and energetic. Lovely freshness but definitely has some nice richness as well. Really very baroque. Nice finesse and some apple and pear fruit but extremely mineral. Salty finish. Excellent.

The app keeps eating my notes. Big super ripe Anjou pear. There’s some cream and white chocolate as it warms. It’s broad and fat and not very long. Some liveliness, certainly some acid, but a bit round and lacking some length for me. There’s a bit of spiciness that makes the finish longer than it otherwise would be.
