Oct 14th, 2016Decanted for an hour to start. Yeah, hello Burgundy. Earth, cherry, fallen leaves, and tea jump from the glass. Definitely bigger due to the year, and not as soft and beautiful as the Thomas last night, but it's got the hallmarks of what I look for in burgundy, especially the tea and dirt! Well balanced, really silky tannins that are still very present...bodes well for much more development in the future. Really enjoyable #burgundythursday

Mar 5th, 2016Very sappy, cherry, spice on the nose, very tight. Just popped and decanted though, still at cellar temp. Will follow up after air and time.
Yeah, these just need to sleep. So big and ripe still, tannic.
