Mar 6th, 2016Let sit for 30 min to let it open. Rose petal and cherry aromas. Bright red berry fruit, leather with a bit of white pepper on the finish. Quite feminine and lovely. #thibaultligerbelair

Sep 13th, 2019I have a decent supply of these, so I keep drinking them. Again an enjoyable bottle that has a lot of the components I want in a Burgundy nose, a light clean freshness, with earth and mineral notes. Feminine definitely. This doesn't have the barnyard and sous bois funk that sends me over the edge of sanity into fits of Burgundy induced delirium where I end up on street corners trying to score more '90 Vosne Romanee 1er to chug behind a dumpster, but it's enjoyable enough for a pleasant #burgundythursday

Jun 30th, 2016Cherry sweet tarts, some oak, I want sous bois and don't find it. Not sure if it will develop or just not going to happen in 11, as I usually find it in Thibauts LSG. Have had a few other years recently and this is definitely the odd man out.

Jun 15th, 2016Wow, what an elegant Les Saint Georges. It shows all the characteristics of a NSG. Thought not a powerhouse, it is elegant yet has plenty of room to develop. Do we always have to wait 20 years to drink a LSG? I feel like having a little pigeon. Beautiful nose, elegant structure, transparent with potential.
