2011, young red fruit a bit to much oakiness

Blagny, hands down one of the most underrated appellations in the Beaune Yard.

2005 vintage. Dried cranberry, autumn leaves, stewed red plum, stewed tart red cherry, red apple skin, a touch of evergreen and nettles, fertile dirt. In very good shape and killer value (when I bought it, not sure what it goes for now). Perfect balance of rusticity and old-school elegance.

Not suave enough to describe what I taste here other than to say it's amazing. Just all my fav characteristics in one bottle. French burgundy

Ah these $&!?&@ing 2004 burgundies. So much potential under the pickle juice and greenness.

This is the wine, the Blagny! Showing very well.
