Maranges Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir

Tight and austere. Needs time

Very ripe and translucent color. Very mellow. Cherry.

Mediocre. It has reasonable flavor but thin and dry and lacking bouquet etc.

Thought that we'd try a burgundy. Definitely higher acidity and a bit more more tannic. Tart cherry finish and a little barnyard on the nose. Getting better the longer that it is in the glass.

Smell: new plastic toy. Light in color, mineral finish. Fruit forward at first. Mellow throughout palette. Overall a nice wine.

Very good Pinot style, great tannins really good fruit flavor but not super sweet! Great Spagetti wine!
