Until identified…this is Three Furies “The Angry One” 2018. And was I biased to love this because look at the bottle—she me. But it is a lightly brooding wine. Darkly fruited, and floral on the nose. Maybe like the perfume this fury wears. On the palate that perfume weaves into the flame in her hands—things get riper and riled, cherry compote, more mineral and herbal stopping short of soil at licorice. Textured with some weight. She casts a spell. I am happy I opened this and sad that I did because I always want to look forward to opening it…
