This grape from southern Italy is genetically very similar to Zinfandel.
Robust but elegant, slightly sweet masculine and rich. Beautiful with meats and aged cheese, but perfect on its own too, at the end of a meal. I loved it!

At the Regent Porto Montenegro on the balcony. Full, not as jammy as Amarone but has some similarities.
