This is one of the few California reds that I feel is a wine of quality. It's a blend of Sangiovese, Cab, and Merlot. I'm usually not a fan of blends but they succeeded with this one. Made by a winery of Italian descent, I can taste the Italian style in this wine. I'm impressed with the balance of exciting acidity and tannins on the finish.
