8 years later it’s still a velvet red. Give it at least 30 minutes to breath - more would be better. Dry cherries, currants, a faint hint of tobacco. The longer it sits the more pronounced the cherry and tobacco smell comes out. It remains dry, like a Boudreaux or Cabernet as you drink, but with more fruit smells and tastes.
