Inspired by @Jeff D. ’s review last night. Been thinking about this all day. Same thing happening as last time. Pop n pour rating great, 92, but can tell there’s more in the tank. @Jeff D. Saw all of your reviews on many years of this wine. 🧢 off! Club member? All wines this good?

Yep, two hours in and this is outstanding. @Eric Shanks i agree with you. Nose is cigar, white flowers, plum, spice, and smoke. New things keep popping out. Between medium and full body. Dark fruit throughout. Tannins perfectly integrated. This is so balanced and smooth, but with huge character. I’m loving this. It reminds me of To Kalon fruit. Don’t yell at me.

From magnum. So pretty and enjoyable right now. Floral bouquet, rich in herbs and spices. Drinks like a fine Bordeaux. Drinking great now but still showing young for its age.

Aug 30th, 201771% Cab/29% Cab Franc. Perfect drinking spot- the fruit, oak, and tannin all in great balance. Fuller bodied and bolder than other vintages. Amazing oak traits all over the nose- cinnamon, baking spice, and cedar. Dark tart cherry and tobacco on the palate. 45 second finish. Years left. Killer.

This wine is underrated and simply outstanding. This is drinking beautifully after 2 hours of decanting. Dynamic nose of dark berries and cherries yield to a cashmere smooth palate with hints of brown sugar and sugar plums. Long finish. Whoa this is awesome
