Uruguayan Alsatian blend. Very tasty and enough muscat aroma to cut through my stuffy nose cold during the change of seasons.

Gewurztraminer/Moscato. This is an boutique wine made by a small wine producer in Uruguay. It is light gold in color. The smell of pineapple nearly blows you away. Smells like honey, honey suckle, apple, over ripe or caramelized fruit. Tastes different than it smells - less fruity and sweet. Salt, rotten apples, funk and mildew. Made for German Riesling drinkers or spicy food!

Seeing as this is 60% Gewurtztraminer, I'm not sure why it's listed as a Chardonnay blend. You could very easily mistake this for Riesling. It has the rubbery, pear/peach like nose. Floral, but still with nice acidity. Great food wine.
