2009. Easter Dinner for one was a Moroccan Lamb Pasty that had cherries and spices and I thought that this Rioja might might pair well. It did. Plum, spice, leather, stones… smooth tannins, mild-med acidity. Loved it!

Modern and international style. Lots of new oak, almost buttery popcorn. Extracted ripe black fruit. Medium plus tannin, med acidity. Opulent and big.
