Vinos Del Atlantico
Montsant Garnacha
Light fresh garnacha, nice texture and a bit of oak creates a nice nose and palate.

Oct 25th, 2018Actually Pinyolet. Coffee, black raspberry, smoke. Easy on the palate - opens up slow and pretty. Definitely decant but doesn't need more than an hour, and drinks fine right away. A little vanilla from the oak. Enough tannic structure for steak tacos or even cumin rosemary grilled lamb. Excellent value garnacha and solid through many vintages. If you lived in a small village you'd hope your local winemaker was this good. You don't though, and you're still lucky as hell to get this for its modest price. Also fantastic with a good friend and a free evening in the garden.

Jun 24th, 2017Well made wine, not my style. A very modern and cleanly made Grenache. Nose of oak and raspberries. In the mouth, red fruit, sweet oak and berries. Missing some acidity and tannic backbone. Medium finish.
