Drinkable Washington wine with character? Who knew! Solid for a leftover meal (Lasagna for example).

Nicely balanced tannins. Cocoa, cassis. Fades a bit after it breaths. Preferred it out of the newly-opened bottle.

Deep ruby color. On the nose blackberry, red cherry, milk chocolate, and tobacco with a slight floral lift. Ripe, juicy black and red New World fruit on the palate with a bit of Old World elegance. Soft tannins and just enough acidity to balance the fruit. A right bank Bordeaux style blend in the style of Pomerol made from 59% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Malbec.

I cannot form a solid argument against spending $19.99 for this bottle. All wine at $20 should taste this good

Opened the first of three tonight. Smooth and balanced. Blackberries and wet earth, with soft tannins and a nice finish.
