Nose is very very deep here. A bit mute but gorgeous and so so pretty. High toned cherry, raspberry, cranberry and sour cherry. So aromatic, even when somewhat muted. Wow. Wow. Wow. That palate is crazy. Unreal velvety tannins and superb depth and concentration. Very Vosne like with gorgeous purity. Darker fruits on the palate. Black cherry but mixed with sour cherry as wells. The nose will need some time. Super grippy and the sweetness of the fruit is out of control. This is such an amazing wine. While obviously young this is like a German Vosne 1er Cru. Can’t wait to see when this opens. Nose has opened a bit but this will be a slow unraveling. But man that palate is just devastating. So silky and velvety with just superb concentration and supple, seductive fruit. Almost a 9.7.
