Surprisingly rich and dark for a Pfalz PN, I would not recognize it as German if tasting blind. Troyes very hard to please, a bd at the end it succeeds.

Very "Burgundian like" German (Pfaltz) Pinot Noir. Bright cherry flavors. Crisp with laser sharp acidity. Elegant Pinot Noir that my guests could not believe was German.

Fabulous Spätburgunder! A great balance of earth and fruit. Forest floor and mushroom on the attack with a hint of overripe strawberry. Balanced acidity and medium-length finish (>15s/<30s).
Paired this with lemon butter salmon and a mushroom risotto.
