Sour like a Sangiovese but rich in plums and oak like a cab. It's good very smooth and rich initially but oh so tart aftertaste. Lots of plum, dark cherry, and smoky oak. I definitely have to snack on some pretzels or something because of the tartness of the wine. Wiens is great but this is def a least favorite. Still good yet they have better options for $38.
