The Dos Cortados is very fine indeed. This bone dry sherry is very much on the amontillado side of palo cortado yet is deep and kaleidoscopically complex. The finish had focus worthy of a Mesnil Champagne and every kind of fancy nut one could imagine.

Loaded with nuts and saline additions, aged caramel and fatty Iberico pork. Smoke and coffee add complexity on the bone dry finish. Note to self for the 1000th time; drink more Sherry.

Amazing mahogny coloured sherry w strong aromas of freshly grounded coffee, pecan, caramel, dried camomill. Bacon fat.
Big yet elegant w a integrated sense of warmth from the alcohol. Dry caramel characteristics, dried dark fruits, black olives.

Gigantic finish. It gets a 99 because it's Sherry, and I can't drink too much or tomorrow will suck like nuclear war.

Very expressive nose displaying mature and complex aromas of prunes, dry figs, peanuts, almonds, caramel, toffee, nail varnish remover and hints of vanilla. It is bone-dry in the mouth with a medium+ body and pronounced elegant and tasty flavours. The alcohol is well-integrated and the finish is very persistent.
