The grapes for this wine are partially hand picked by Sunday school students as part of their class. A percentage of the proceeds from this wine are given back to the church in communion wine. All that said, this is one of our favorites from Four Horses and a Dog Winery. — 4 years ago
Very nice dessert wine. Not super sweet, but sweet enough to curb the craving. — 4 years ago
Great flavor, relatively acidic, but definitely better served chilled. I would get again. — 4 years ago
Paired with seasned pork loin and vegetables with a spinach salad. Agree with it being fruit forward. We let it breathe for at least 30 minutes... and that helped. Overall, for the price it isn't bad in a pinch, but likely would select another red next time. It will likely never be someone's 'go-to' red.
Just paired the second glass with a caramel fill chocolate... total improvement. I bumped by 0.2 points. Still likely may not buy again, but if you end up with a bottle, find some chocolate. — 4 years ago
Overall, not our favorite Red.... but clean and full bodied. I would drink again, wife not so much, but I probably wouldn't but again. Too many other better reds. — 4 years ago
Yogi-Berry is a great sweet blackberry wine. Not near as acidic as many other black berries we have tried. — 4 years ago
Tart cranberry with enough kick for dinner... in a beautiful lighthouse bottle. — 4 years ago

This is the house merlot at my local Chedders.... I hadn't ever had it before so I thought I would give it a try. Not a fan. Bit of oak and dry, both I would generally like. The flavor is just blah.
