The description: Los Haroldos Estate Malbec is a classic, rich, intensely fruity Malbec from high altitude vineyards. Ripe fruit, smoke and chocolate on the nose with fleshy blackberry fruit.
The opinion: Excellent and description accurate. Great value as well — 10 months ago
The description: Domaine du Cayron Gigondas is a traditional, full-bodied French red wine from the Southern Rhône Valley, known for its rich blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault grapes. Produced by the Faraud family for five generations, it features intense dark fruit, spice, and earthy notes, with a velvety texture and long, savoury finish.
The opinion: Delicious. Needs a good stew or steak. — 3 months ago
The description: This wine showcases a deep garnet color with purplish highlights. The initial aromas are complex, and after a brief aeration, it reveals scents of stewed small black fruits and candied cherries. We notice a pleasant acidity on the palate balanced by well-presented and structured tannins. This wine delivers notes of black fruits and toasty flavors on the finish. Complex and well-balanced, the finish is long and lingering. The opinion: Beautiful! Enjoy. — 7 months ago
A very good Chardonnay, excellent value for money, would buy again. — a year ago
The description: Elegant, well rounded and medium bodied style. Aromatic persistence in the mouth and soft, silky tannins ripening slowly.
The opinion: Needs a few more years to deepen its flavour — a year ago
The description: Wonderful loganberry aroma on the nose, or deeply intense raspberry and black cherry, after which exotic spice and freesia scents become apparent. Beautifully fresh and expressive in the mouth; medium-bodied and rounded with present but understated tannin and acidity. This is so delicious that it will inevitably be consumed straight away...but should you forget about few bottles, they will age beautifully for at least another 5-6 years.
The opinion: It’s fine but did not meet expectations. — 5 months ago
The description: Fleur d’Eglantine gets its name from its acidulous freshness and its luminous colour, reminiscent of the petals of the wild roses that surround our vinyards. It’s a delicate rosé, airy and acidic, which unites floral aromas and crunchy red berries. Grape Grenache mixed with Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah
The opinion: Brilliant value for this depth of flavour. I am off to buy a case of….no more said!

The description: A deep blackcurrant-red colour, with bright cherry highlights. A profusion of black fruit flavours and soft spices on the nose. A rich full-bodied palate, sustained by freshness and a certain mineral touch. A silky, velvety tannic finish to enhance the balance.
A wine for early drinking but can be cellared for 2 to 3 years.
The opinion: it’s very good. Well worth investing in a couple of bottles to drink over the next couple of years. — a year ago

The description: From the sun-soaked limestone terraces of Bandol, this powerful red captures the very soul of Provence. Château de Font Vive is a small, almost secret estate — no flashy marketing, just pure dedication to Mourvèdre and Grenache. In the glass, it’s an explosion of dark cherries, ripe plums, and blackberry, wrapped in peppery spice and Provençal herbs. Silky yet robust tannins give it a bold structure, while a long, warming finish leaves you craving the next sip. Whether you enjoy it now with a hearty lamb stew or cellar it for a decade, this is Bandol as it was meant to be — rich, authentic, unforgettable. If you’re looking for a wine that turns a meal into an occasion, this is it. Grape 85% Mourvèdre, 15% Grenache
The opinion: Started well but didn’t follow through. Has potential, but need to wait a couple of years. — 8 days ago
