2014- this is a young pup, that finally started to really show well on day3. Nice fruit, and complexity that will age easily for 10-12 years. — 7 years ago
Initial impression. Solid fruit. Black and red. Lovely silky texture and medium body on the palate. Will take to another year or so quite well. — 8 years ago
Think I got lucky and found the peak. Medium plus body, Lovely dark fruit and hints of baking spices. The wine has impeccable balance at the moment. Thank you Steve Hearn if your out there somewhere. Thank you Jennifer for bringing this to the store way back when. — 9 years ago
2011 vintage, shows the virtues of the Stelvin enclosure. The warmth of the last half of the vintage pokes through on a slightly hot finish, but the lovey medium body and texture of the wine more than make up for it. Very solid fruit up front with lemon pith, under ripe honey dew melon, sugar snap peas, and that lovely note of white pepper that graces GV. The finish has good length, and if one has this bottle lurking around in their cellar, I believe it will go for another 5 years or so. — 7 years ago
Well aged. Had to open as back up to Masciarelli Barbera. Great fruit and earth with impeccable balance. — 8 years ago
Exotic nose of flowers and warm spices. Peaches, pear, Meyer lemon and a nice acidity on the finish. Medium bodied with well integrated acidity. Slightly warm finish. — 8 years ago
Bright solid ripe black...berry, raspberry, cherry, framed with peach yogurt and black pepper on the finish. Full bodied with very well integrated alcohol. A personal favorite vineyard of mine with 100+ year old@ vines Style sits between Ridge and St Francis if you are familiar with their bottlings. — 7 years ago
2012- still has brilliant acid and solid pitted fruit, with bright citrus notes as well. Has a subtle note of white pepper on the finish. Well balanced and drinking well now. This wine will go for a bit longer before saying bye-bye. Great with Fresh baked cod and leftover asparagus and eggplant from Branchline in H2Otown, MA. — 7 years ago
Solid Bourgogne with black cherries and Raspberries with a hint of mushroom and medium tannin, medium finish. A touch more time would be beneficial — 8 years ago

I have really enjoyed the wines of Bichot over the years. I feel this wine is really quite lovely, and has the fruit and body that exemplifies Les Charmes. The finish has excellent length. — 4 years ago
