Add the Zinfandel to the lineup of Freakshow wines that I’ve tried and liked. Thick, but smooth without being syrupy. Great flavor. The finish is sweet and subtle. Admittedly, I’m persuaded by the heavy bottle and cool branding. Aesthetics matter. — a month ago
Not special, per se, but it’s very smooth and even-flavored. Went down a little too smoothly, actually! — 3 months ago
No different than most budget wines in that it tastes a bit chemical-y and generic. The flavor evens out with some air. Dare I say each glass was tenable as they neared their end. You could do much, much worse for $9. — 17 days ago
Richly sweet flavor profile of berry and cherry, with hints of spice and smokiness. Heavy but to too much so. Very smooth finish. A high quality wine, and more enjoyable than other Cab Sauvs that I’ve tried. — 22 days ago
Smooth and not too robust. Better than good. Shorter of great. — 2 months ago
A teenie bit flat with underwhelming flavor. However, its neutrality and easy finish were a great complement to my vegetable lasagna entree. I would gladly drink again. Just not my favorite Pinot Noir, and not noticeably better than cheaper options. — 4 months ago
I had bought and tried the entire GoT series, except for the first release, back around 2015-ish. I had more saved as collectibles, and a few more of them were extras. This Winter is Here was one of those that I was lucky enough to rediscover this winter. I remembered it as my favorite of the bunch and it didn’t disappoint. All the flavor and creamy benefits of a stout without the milky weight. I wish I had more. It’s a great beer that should replicate, if they haven’t already. — 22 days ago
Good enough for $12.99. Average flavor. Decent weight and finish. — a month ago
My lane is usually the cheap $10-$15 variety aside from special occasions. I’ve rarely found it worthwhile to make the slight jump up $15-$25 Juggernaut was strongly recommended by the clerk and I was willing to try for a bit over $20. It was worth it. I could taste the quality in the flavor and velvety finish. Def. a repeat buyer. — 3 months ago

It’s an 8 as a wine, but it’d be a 9.5 amongst just wines under $10. I got it for $9 at Walmart. My expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike many budget wines, the Estancia California Pinot Noir 2023 is evenly sweet with a flavor that isn’t great, but does not have any tinges of chemicals. It has a good weight … not too to thin/watery. The finish is smooth. I was very pleased with the with this purchase and will happily try it again. — 15 hours ago
