Distinctly OK wine. Which is fine! It is low acid, not much residual sweetness, medium fruit with aromas of spices, pepper and berries. Medium tannin. Overall well balanced, but light to the lower end of medium in body. It is easy drinking wine! — 10 years ago

Dark ruby colour. Aromas of red berry, maybe blackberry, cigar box and paper. Low (though more than some) residual sugar. Medium fruits and acid, relatively high tannin. Full bodied red that is well balanced with a bit of a punch and reasonable length. — 10 years ago

Perfectly drinkable. Nothing to rave about though, quite sharp, however you cannot argue with the price. — 10 years ago

Reasonable wine. Low residual sugar, medium fruits and tannin and high acid. Ruby in colour with very light legs. Medium bodied. Relatively well balanced, good with beef and cheese. Fine length. Overall this is OK pays d'orc merlot for everyday drinking, however there are better. — 10 years ago

Fanatastic wine. Enjoyed with a steak whilst staying in Normandy. Full bodied, tannins good but not over powering. Well balanced decent wine. — 10 years ago

Exotic fruity Chardonnay, with aroma and taste of melon, pineapple, and to a lesser degree pear. Relatively dry but quite buttery and soft. Would be good with chicken and fish. — 10 years ago
