Raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, light coloured, refreshing acidity with light, gentle tannins, and slight minerality.
Nothing wrong but nothing stands out, simple and one dimensional.
Decent for ~$25 Cad, but can can better Burgundy Pinot Noir for similar price. — 9 years ago
Wow! I throughly enjoyed this one. This one really needs to breath. Initial nosing is very earthy, humid and moss like, deep, with the dark fruit in the background. I can see how some mention tobacco. It is increasingly dry on the palate, but gentle, and a medium to long finish. Very nice complexity and balanced tannins for just $25Cad!
Wonder what this will taste like in another year or two. Time to go buy more. — 9 years ago
Cranberry juice red and light viscosity. Ripe cherries, leather, and earthy mineral notes on the nose. Gentle spice and pepper on the palate with slight mineral linger. Medium minus tannins, balanced acidity, and medium minus length finish.
Great value Rhone red at ~$16Cad, classic old world style and flavour, works better with food. — 9 years ago
Very well balanced with a gentle hint of spice, incredibly easy drinking, slight gamey finish and lightly drying. Overall a great value at this price point. — 9 years ago
Earthy with a hint of gravel on the finish. Light to medium tannins, fleshy with great mouth feel, and ripe cherries. Could use a bit more time to enhance the softness, but great value nonetheless. — 9 years ago

Could of used a tad more acidity, but a stunner none-the-less! — 9 years ago
