We’ve had other wine from this region and have enjoyed most of them. This one has a very light aroma. Clings to the glass well. We let it sit in our glasses for 15 mins, as initial taste was unimpressive, and quite sharp. Tasted it again and it did mellow out a lot more, but still it was unimpressive. After a total 40 mins, the sharpness has subsided but it never became yummy. Definitely disappointing, especially at this price point. Will not buy again, money better spent elsewhere. — 6 years ago

I’m not a fan of all the Gamay I’ve tried before, as they have almost no body. However this one surprised during a tasting at the vineyard. A light medium body that ends with a slight peppery note. At a price point of under $20, we have bought a case. It’s a Gamay that refuses to be one. — 5 years ago

Decent cheap Cab Sav. Sure you can pick this apart, but considering we spent $14 Cdn on it, we’ll probably buy a few to keep around as “the 2nd bottle” in an evening. — 5 years ago
