2011 vintage. Pressed by how much this wine evolved in the glass. It starts with a nose of blackberry and plum, smoke and a taste of prunes and savoury note when just poured off the bottle. After a few minutes it changes dramatically: the black fruit notes mellow down and more chocolate and floral notes develop. Medium body with very fine tannins and a nice acidity to balance the alcohol. Extremely persistent finish — 9 years ago

Lovely Rioja, with layers of fruity, spicy and woody aromas that just make you want to sniff at your glass again and again. Balanced with a very long finish — 9 years ago

Interesting wine, notes of unripe pineapple, honey, hay, fresh and mineral to the taste with a note of oxidation on the finish. A bit thin. — 9 years ago

Typical Tempranillo aromas, shame for the very unripe tannins that make this not very pleasant to drink — 9 years ago
