Alec's Blend Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2012
Big dark fruit bomb with black pepper, tobacco and hint of vanilla on the nose. Very plump and round on the pallet, with the Lewis signature blackberry / black currant jamminess (almost to a fault). Dark cocoa too. Gorgeous long finish. A great effort and one to enjoy every now and again (but not a daily drinker).

Very un-Italian. Chalky, dark, cocoa. Different and as Rob says, 'fun!'

Suscol Ranch Napa Valley Merlot 2012
Vanilla. Leather. Blend of red and dark fruit. Garlic probably attributable to Rob's escargot. Pleasant texture. Medium short finish.
