What a pleasant surprise. Petrol and Jasmine on the nose. 14 years young on this wine and I feel like it could still age longer! — 5 years ago
Woke up thinking about Bouillabaisse and picked this to pair with it tonight... Lively acidity buoyed by a woody dryness on the finish makes this wine feel short in mouth but lingering in the flavors... dried cherry, strawberry.... such pretty aromatics greet you as this wine opens. — 5 years ago
Millesime 1997. Brown butter. Caramel. Toasted oak. Viscous. Lovely mouthfeel. Fig. Nuts. — 6 years ago
Pretty and bright fruit but smooth and long. Blueberries and cherry pie. Soft on the finish, I’m guessing the creamy texture so young as a product of its 3 months aging in amphorae, clay vessels used in Spain. This is a beaut of a Roblè though with only nine months total aging. — 5 years ago
Chalky. Creamy. Raisins and smooth finish. Was so excited to taste it. — 6 years ago
Walked up to the top of this vineyard to see the 100+ year vines. Was privileged to taste the 1970 and the 1989 vintages with Pierre and Bertrand Couly. 1970 held its own and showed the terroir well next to the muscular 1989. — 6 years ago

Minerality. Dirt. Wet rocks. Almost an algaeish aroma. Wet soil with a chalky texture like the clay limestone of this place. Delicious. — 5 years ago
