First thing I noticed was the intense nose. Very thick and acidic (tangy) as cabernets are wont to be, like drinking a liquid length of rich velvet. The best thing is the tanginess disperses leaving a very minimal and short lived aftertaste, surprisingly for such a strong wine in the beginning! I think this is key though, otherwise the acidic taste might overwhelm. Surprisingly buttery in texture as it goes down. If the aftertaste lasted a second longer, I'd be tipped to the highest rating! — 11 years ago
Thanks, thank you for getting me back into the habit of wine with this app! Haha. I am finding myself doing more research as a result, it is fun. I even picked up two bottles yest!
This is why "Chad's Picks" was put into play! Hehe. Me too on the research - I'm thinking about getting the world atlas of wines book. Any good wine book recommendations?
