Really maturing well after 25 years. Notes of honey mead, candied citrus, and stone fruit. Probably started out dry but turning a nice level of sweetness after all these years. Not sure if this is an orange wine or if the color just changed but it’s a lovely light amber. — a year ago

Overrated imo. First few sips were delicious because it’s so fruit forward but as I drank more, I felt it was lacking complexity. Drank it side by side with a Donatella Riserva. Both Brunellos were 10 years old but the Donatella delivered so much more depth. — 2 years ago
