A beautiful white burgundy from the master Pierre Yves Colin-Morey. This 2011 is rich and well balanced with dancing acidity and hints of lemon, apple, spice and incredibly expressive and definite oak notes. — 10 years ago
A beautiful light, dry and delectable Arneis. — 10 years ago
One of the absolute best wines I've ever put past my lips. Dark, rich, earthy, complex. Hints of plum and spice with a very sophisticated, yet suave, tannin structure. These bottle are hard to find, but if you find one - buy it. — 10 years ago
South African wines are amazingly priced and very delicious. Certainly not as complex and deep as French, Italian or Californian reds, this red pilotage blend was prices around $25US and drank very well with a neutral balanced red table wine flavor. — 10 years ago
A delicious well-balanced and not too brash Cabernet. Heitz has always been one of my favorites and this is why. Let this one breath for a good 30 after decanting. — 10 years ago
Quickly became one of my favorites. A very deep, rich and earth-laden vintage was this 1995 Vigna Big d'Big. — 10 years ago
Drinking well is this 1999 Barbera. Hints of fresh fruit on the front, but an incredibly balanced and deep textured back. I could drink this all night - oh, wait I did. A great find! — 10 years ago
I don't always drink a 14 year old Austrian white, but when I do, it's with Nikita. Punchy first mouthful, but opens up nicely with hints of tangerine, over-ripe orange and an clean finish. — 10 years ago

A tasty medium-bodied 2011 Ruche. Grown on - 6-acre winery, only 1500 cases are produced. A clean, smooth wine with ripened berry jam and freshly ground black pepper. Great every day wine! — 10 years ago
