Intensely honeyed with some in my group noting petrol, extremely interesting and concentrated. Enjoyed with a crystallized cheddar, Spanish goat’s milk cheese, and a couple of others. Highly enjoyable. Might even stand up to some desserts. — 5 years ago
2010 Vintage - we expected vinegar, got a beautiful Madeira nose and full bodied palate. Really surprising, and a gorgeous finish that sticks around for a minute. — 6 years ago
Beautiful, complex, savory. Bold and assertive. Such body for a 13 year old wine. Lots of earthy spice. Love. — 5 years ago
Such an interesting wine on its own, wish we had paired it with food, and probably will next time we are together.
Has quite a bit of salinity on the back end, surprisingly acidic. I would be fooled by the color in a blind tasting, as by the palette. — 5 years ago
Surprisingly not oxidative (I say this because we had the 2009 alongside it), and very bright and acidic for being almost 15 years old. Not what I expected at all, but really enjoyed this. — 5 years ago
Quite a lot of dark fruit juice on the nose, blackberry, cinnamon, clove. Palette matches, with a surprising medium body that I didn’t expect. Slightly sweet-tart finish. Really fantastic for my palette! — 5 years ago

Velvety as hell! Brings back lovely memories of drinking this at the vineyard. — 5 years ago
