A little Muscat in the blend sexes this bottle up a touch. — 9 years ago
In a market crowded with $10 pretty good Garnacha, this one stands out with structure and acid to balance the considerable ripeness. I really like this wine. Raspberry, gingery grilled pork, and orris root dominate a hefty but not excessive palate with a bright finish showing some oil packed black olive notes. — 9 years ago
Really sexy nose. Enough structure to pull off the silly juiciness, but overripe for my taste. — 9 years ago
Muscaty raisinyness backed up by hazelnut&co tertiary goodness. Carries the al and RS well. — 9 years ago
Wayyy past prime. Translucent brickish brown. Showed some hazelnut, ambiguous dried fruit, and a massive wall of alcohol. Poured blind, I would have guessed cheap sherry. — 9 years ago
Lots of sediment. Generic oaky Cali cab on the nose. Dried orange peel, tea, and, five spice stand out with chewy tannin and a soy saucy coffee finish. Would have been nice with duck. Overall, kind of generic, but handling maturity well. — 9 years ago
Weapons grade red fruit and flowers balanced by just enough sous-bois. Lots of delicious factor without being slutty. — 9 years ago
A more than competent Pinot for the price point. Cherry red fruit balanced by a pronounced, pleasant dried floral vegetal note. — 9 years ago
Maybe a bit simple, but a really bright, clean, well-executed simple without too much RS. Floral stone fruit. Good with curry. — 9 years ago

Deep, dark black fruit nose shows some unbutton incense and minty chocolate. Grippy tannins and savory black plum on the palate. Tea and soy saucey finish leaving a distinctly umami impression. — 8 years ago
