Subtle aroma of rose petals. Comes on thick and luscious like baked tart apples. Bright acidity & long finish. Lime peel lingers on the palate. — 10 years ago
Nice rich body and alluring color. Very well balanced. Played well with several meals and was great on its own, too. — 10 years ago
Found this sultry seductress on a hike through the Cowiche Canyon outside of Yakima. Very glad to bring this wine back as a token from my spring trip to the Edenic high desert. Kelsey says 'Smells like a beach ball in all the right ways.' To me, that translates to the kind of honeyed vinyl aromas that makes this one of my favorite varietals. Not as spicy as other examples I've tried, but no less complex. Really ripe melon (almost Jolly Rancher-esque) and a shot of something warm and earthy, like thyme, are things I'm tasting. — 10 years ago
It was on sale for $7 at our local grocery store. So I gave it a try with some braised brisket. Excellent for the price and I would most likely buy it again. — 10 years ago
Really hard to complain with that. Fresh minerally aroma. Reserved sugar but not overly sweet. Getting fresh strawberry and strawberry vinegar in the flavor profile. Definite winner. — 10 years ago
Peachy. Beeswax. Bone dry. 14% alcohol. Warming and seductive. Simple. Like short sentences. — 10 years ago
