2004 Schioppettino. It was on this wine, my fiancée and I shared our first 'real' date. It was on this bottle of wine, that we recently shared our engagement and her birthday. No need, but the bottle is still so damn good, and unlike any other red wine I've had. And that's sayin' somethin'. — 11 years ago
I've loved it more that last few times I've had it. But if I remember correctly, it was the Italian wine of the year. A little tapenade-ey, but still some sweet fruit and great mouthfeel. Drinks NOTHING like Bordeaux. — 10 years ago
Quite possibly the best Napa Valley Zinfandel with 10+ years on it, shoot, 5 plus years on it. Amazing fruit, so very well put together, good acid, and absolutely great color and clarity. Touché Truchard. Looking forward to more. — 11 years ago
One of my favorite properties within Oregon, or even the states. Great French-Burgundy styled chard, low French oak. Looking forward to seeing how this one evolves in the cellar. — 11 years ago
Great mouthfeel. Original aromas of smoked meats, roasted game and blackberry. Great silky mouthfeel throughout 3 hour drink. Looking forward to the last bottle of this wine. Still very youthful. — 10 years ago

One of our nostalgic favorites from the north fork. One property doing Gruner, and it's one woman. Bright acid, absolutely crisp - the perfect pair with some oysters or Long Island shellfish. — 11 years ago
Magnum. Great bottle! Great fruit for being a few years back. Somewhat rusty in color, subtly acidic. Nice wine, especially while overlooking the Atlantic. — 11 years ago

Aromatics remind me of these Japanese Muscat Gummies. Pretty nice little wine, but palate suggests more oxidation than desired. Stored perfectly its entire life, a few years younger may have been beneficial. — 8 years ago
