not sure what a “classic” wine profile is but this is probably it lmao.
Fresh fruits but spicy at the same time.
Well balanced!

Awesome stuff. Oxidative notes, stone fruit skins, on first contact. Basically some kind of fruity bitterness/nuttiness to start. Backed by tropical notes of pineapple and good citrus! Fun amount of acid it give it energy!! Just a really good drink. — 23 days ago

Strawberry and earth. Something kinda minty/herby but more of a sensation than the actual taste.

Minerality/salinity very present from what I expected from a gewurz from ginglinger. Really that’s all I’m getting. That mineral and salty hit back by faint tropical notes. It also tasted hot to me. 14.5 abv might have to do with it. Not my favorite from JG — a month ago

I guess this one was a blend of muscat and a lil bit of local honey.
Notes were mostly citrus/tropical fruit with what I thought was a good amount of acid to make it feel lively. That zippyness didn’t linger too long and it was followed with a mild honeyed note that kinda toned it all back down. Is that what balanced kinda feels like?
In general, I thought it was pleasant to drink and was better than what I was expecting but I didn’t really know what to expect especially because I didn’t know what the honey was gonna do. It’s nothing too crazy imo but I would for sure drink it again!

Syrah/carignan. Initial herbal note and that kinda bell pepper thing but more herby. Then backed by dark red fruit. Good lil lift from the acidity and it makes it feel a lil fresher to drink. This dark red fruit/herbal thing is a profile that I have a hard time with so they all taste same-y right now but imma get better — a month ago

Super super super reductive on the nose and that initial taste. A little backed by green apple and some general brightness and decent acid. But overall just very reductive and mineral forward, at least for my palate. I know ppl are into these types of profiles but it’s not my thing rn. — 3 days ago

I think I had a bad bottle. Mousy? It just smelled weird. I couldn’t exactly what I smelled but I didn’t like it and the aroma carried over into the actual taste AND the other notes were also muted so when I got past the weird aroma, it just dint taste like much. — a month ago
