Near perfect '89 CdP. Rich, yet elegant. Strawberries and sous bois, earthy notes in the nose. Vibrant fruit on the palate. Drink now and over the next 5+ years. Tasted with '89 Bonny Dune Le Cigar Volent. Each complimented the other. Great wine.. — 5 years ago

Stunning and vibrant Pinot Noir from Hyde Vineyard. Black cherries and earthy, tarry notes in the nose. Violets. Great acidity, dense fruit, firm tannin, long finish. Nice now but patience would be a virtue with this one. Great wine. — 5 years ago

1998 Late Harvest Preston Ranch White Riesling. Rich and unctuous but lacking just a little acidity upfront. Nice fruitt and sweetness. Drink up due to lower level acidity. — 5 years ago

Remarkably youthful at 31 years old. Raspberries with a sweet cedar spice. Great acidity with lingering fruit. Perfect now, but a well cellared gem could be stellar 5+ years down the line. — 5 years ago
