Not quite as pleased with this as Scott is. Maybe it's the memory of last night's Pinot Noir. I like more fruit on the tongue. This feels like a bit more tannin. The label reads 'dollops of smoke, graham cracker, chocolate and fruit'...my palate does not have the discernment to catch these nuances. — 9 years ago
I am a bit surprised by this wine. It has body but lacks some of the fruit tones I expect from a quality Zin. Nothing wrong with it, but I have tasted better. — 9 years ago
Pinot noir just seems to have something pleasant to say to the casual drinker. This sits on the tongue with a quiet emphasis on blackberry. Doesn't interfere with your pleasure in the appetizer. Haven't gotten to dinner yet... — 9 years ago
We found this wine at Harris Teeter in Summerville, SC. It surprised us with its depth and flavor. We have a couple of bottles waiting for the right moment... — 10 years ago
For years we have found this wine to be satisfactory to our tastes. Zinfandel has a more robust feel in the mouth, and this wine includes a good fruit impression. We found it at a good price at Costco, and recommended it to another couple who weren't familiar with wines. — 9 years ago
Respectable, but not sensational. No 'Wow' moments...just a pleasant feel on the tongue and a nice Malbec strength. A bit of fruit (I don't have the palate to describe it properly), but unlike some other reds, did not increase in complexity with food. — 9 years ago
This turns out to be a good, but not sensational, sipping wine, nice for sitting on your deck and enjoying a little relaxation. — 9 years ago

I am disappointed in this wine. It seems too one-note, somewhat 'shallow'. A nice wine, but I expected more...
At Magnolia in Charleston, always happy hee. — 9 years ago
