Delicious. Very fruity. Got a lot of strawberry and vanilla with faint hints of some oak and tobacco. You can tell it was aged extremely well, just right for the wine it is. — 6 years ago
Lots of raspberry, maybe a little cherry. Aromas and taste of dark fruit as well. It’s a light cab with delayed tannins which really teases out a good aftertaste. I like it. — 6 years ago
Oak, cinnamon. Cherry hints but it’s not overpowering. I picked up vanilla as well. Clearly aged well. — 6 years ago
Fruity, not too dry. Lemon and apple taste.i paired it with trout and cauliflower. My dad threatened to use it as disinfectant, but I personally enjoyed it given our meal. — 6 years ago
Definitely got blackberries and plum, hints of some chocolate in there as well. Plum and cinnamon came in the after taste. Full bodied and complex. Pretty good cab, especially for Santa Barbara. 8/10 — 6 years ago
Bitter, very oaky. Definitely got a little chocolate and lots of pepper. Very bold wine. One of my all time faves though. — 6 years ago
Oaky, blackberry aromas. I got banana too. Heavy and bold, tannic, really front of the mouth. Leathery in that sense. It’s a heavy Syrah, almost a Cab Franc. The aging is OK (you can tell he aged it in conventional oak) but it’s young. I decanted it for like 20 mins and the flavor is still a little off. It’s good not great. B-B+ wine. I wish Gavin Newsom stuck to winemaking, though, as this wine has a lot to improve on (flavor, specifically). Nevertheless, it is infinitely more enjoyable than his governorship. — 6 years ago
Oaky, very very bold. Chocolate hints as well. Maybe it’s just me but I’m picking up blackberry. Paired well with a filet with mushroom sauce and vegetables. — 6 years ago

Wow. I really like this wine. Cherry, raspberry flavors with a balanced after taste. Not much oak at all, very soft and light. I enjoyed it. — 6 years ago
